Camilla: my bride

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 4:12 am

I married early with this toon. The gal from Riverwood seemed like a good choice as her quest is early and straightforward. She has run a nice little shop and kept me supplied in arrows for the first 20 lvls or so.

MANY lvls later, I chose the investor speech perk...now her brother is da' man!. It occurs to me that she could be 10000gp more lovely (I do like her anyway) if she ran the Riverwood trader.

So what's the proper order?

1 Marry
2 lvl the bedikeens out of speech
3 'Sever' the family
4 let her take the store
5 then invest?

Or does she never get the big investment opportunity?

The 'returning the claw' dialogue can be annoying, but I might be willing to overlook it in future toons.

Thx for the help

All I can tell you is that marriage is the last thing on my mind. I pick a bride after I'm done with, like, everything. It's kind of a role-play thing - y'know, like why would I settle down when I'm conquering the world, etc. - but it's also to avoid making a choice I wish I could change later. For what it's worth, you're gonna have plenty of merchants to trade with for mucho cash, so don't sweat it.

Probably not helpful as you'd've liked, but it's all I got.

I remember that it only affects her brother. Don't know if it affects her too though

Thanks for the responses. Definitely not a big deal w 60k gp...more of a curiosity thing. Maybe well move back in with him...and see what happens when she needs to take over the store :)
