for a while iv had an issue where i cant have anyone follow me which of course means i cant recruit or sacrafice anyone to complete quests

I REALLY WISH THIS HAD BEEN FIXED ALREADY BECAUSE ITS THE SECOND TIME IT HAS HAPPENED, i try to get someone to follow me and game says i already do when i clearly dont. i fixed this the first time by doing the companions quest but it soon returned after i cured myself of lychanism.
