so how long after creating a character does it take to find a dragon ??

and how likely am i to be pwned by said dragon once found ?

and are the patches worth getting (if there are any yet)

(still have the -box 360 dashboard from october so no giant add placement thing)

It takes a few minutes after you start your character to see a dragon. However, you don't get to play with any until after start the Main Quest. The game will tell you how to do that once started. BTW, you don't have to jump into the MQ right away.

Dragons are a challenging foe, but they can be handled.

Patches are fine, the 1.3 patch is smooth and stable and that is what you will get as soon as you connect to Xbox Live on the 360. There is a patch coming out soon for game data issues, that will be here soon.

if you follow the main quest you will find a dragon about 2 hours into the game, its hardish, since you probably wont have the most impressive gear yet.

its one of the lower level dragons though, so its totally doable, and its a really fun fight

or go on the forums and ask people who already play the game about the things he wants to know?

Well, like previous people told you, if you do follow the MQ, the dragons will appear pretty soon (you have a quest involving a dragon that needs to be killed and then they are all over the world )
If you fight a dragon head on and solo, you WILL get killed in the beginning (learned this the hard way myself).
As for patches for the Xbox, no idea really, PC gamer myself

I think you'll probably enjoy it much more if you answer those questions and any others you come up with yourself by experiencing them.

i dont onw the game yet :/ have to wait till tomorrow and i migth not get into the game till sunday cuz ill prob spend the day creating my character / killing my self by doing something stupid
