Isn't that only for the multiplayer portion of video games?

EULAs exist with ALL modern software, its that thing that people hit I agree too before the read it.

EULAs basically say you dont own the game and that the company and come and take it from you at thier whim.

Ironically though, companies cannot enforce the EULA.

and yet the US legal system still never truly enforces it or takes it very serious save for extreme circumstances. Though in the same respect there isn't much in it that people would really go out of their way to break or challenge it.

Just looking for it so I can double check something about "commercial" usage of the game.

As far as the EULA goes, you probably won't need to concern yourself with it unless you're attempting to use their engine or creation kit for commercial profit, which is not allowed. You can however accept donations for any mods you make via the engine/creation kit, you just can't charge a fee.

Otherwise I don't know what you could be concerned with commercially.

If it's about in game footage, so long as you are not saying on the vid you made that you made the game and deserve the credit your fine. Just make sure people are aware of what the game is and who made it in a comment. I can't see any problems.

If you have a specific question about commercial use, I recommend contacting one of our Community Managers via PM, either Gstaff or Nick Breckon.

I think your best bet would be to check Bethesda's site and see if you can find any emails that looks like they could answer any question you have.

http://www.gamesas.com/eng/contact_email.php

http://www.zenimax.com/contact.htm

My best guess would be to contact customer service and see if they can answer your question. If not, ask who you could contact that could. Good luck!

edit: Or what the post above suggests :)

The eula basically protects the company from you suing it because you lost your sweet roll.
Im not sure if there was an agreement. You could install the game and see if it makes you agree to something. If you didnt click I AGREE, then there is no eula. If it does make you click I AGREE then you can read the complete eula right then and there.

edit: its on your cd
