I just laughed at Kodlak Whitemane's funeral

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 9:43 am

Messed up as it seems I laughed after his funeral when the members of the circle started grieving over his death. Can't help but to say that they ask for it. I haven't had this much laughter in about a week.

Thanks Bethesda for making me laugh :)

I was kinda sad because he's one of my favorite characters. I was surprised at who showed up there too. Wasn't really expecting Balgruuf, Proventus and a few other people to be there.

Laugh?

He's the only member of the companions with half a brain...

Ahh, but you are a sick man by nature with a twisted sense of humour.

Not necessary. You see theirs no real leader in the guild. He refuses to acknowledge that he was the leader therefor everyone can give out orders (without checking in with the leader) as they please. Had he taken the role of leader then maybe this never had happen, and he would still be alive to this day. The way I see it is that the companions started acting like a bunch of overly steroid bullies once the dragonborn becomes a werewolf. They invaded the Silver hand, not the other way around. The Silver hand had the right to defend themselves and to revenge the death of their leader.

If only Bethesda allowed us to side with the silver hands.

Doesn't matter, I can see it all the way over in the Index, so even if I only frequent the General Discussion and the Lore, I still see it. I personally have already beaten the Companions quest but I'm sure there will be many who will just see this in the Index and go "wow thanks a lot"

I don't mean to sound harsh or rude but this is the spoiler section. So far the mods here has no problem with the name that I pick for this thread. Please stop derailing my thread.

I get how that can be frustrating, but seriously, the odds of that happening are so slim I'm not sure it's worth time pointing it out. It's a slight inconvenience, yeah, but they'll get over it most likely.

i can say i lost all my respect for that guy.
Still laughing when his corpse was burning. But its kinda sad too, especially when i read his journal :(
If only kodlak was the leader(officially). The companions should have a leader

My Nord would have been sad, as Kodlak seemed like a nice guy, and had nice hair.

I liked Kodlak even more after reading his journal.

Actually, the Companions had every right to attack the Silver Hand cause the Silver Hand keep stealing what is theirs and they tried to kill members of the Companions (Including you) even before you become a werewolf and started attacking them.

What happen is the Silver Hand finally did something that really tick off the Companions.

~Edit~

Oh and I was sad as well.. Kodlak is one of my fave NPCs in Skyrim

My reaction was a typical old-school Final Fantasy main character's response
