Lydia OH! Lydia

I have been trying to marry Lydia Via Console commands
so far i have used the console command " addfac 00019809 1 "
with no luck as well as the command " setrelationshiprank player 4 "
Talk about PLAYING HARD TO GET!!!!
Has anyone been successful?

why lydia? every time i go off to kill something, she's gone for like 10 minutes before she finally comes walking in after i've already killed something...

any ways, i have not, i'm a playstation gamer, but i just try googling it and tryign every thing.

Lydia is intended to be marryable, a bug prevents this from occurring. I doubt console commands can overcome it

Videos on youtube contradict you, sir/madame. Granted, she is definitely bugged so success seems to be iffy but it IS possible with console commands.

There has to be a work around, I just don't think it's in the console.

Alas, the only way is through the console. Unless Bethesda properly fixes her in a DLC pack.

I prefer Aela as an sneaky archer as she sneaks better and is less likely to draw packs of undead. Lydia is an better tank and probably better at lower level.

However Lydia always followed me very closely but Aela tend to fall behind, less of an problem in dungeons as I mostly sneak and check containers but in the wilderness I can not count on her support.
