How am I suppose to get anywhere near this base with the Boomers (I assume) shooting me down with their cannons.

If you're on casual mode, I made it there just chugging stims. Otherwise there's the gambler that tells you how to "hide" from the mortars, or if you can pick very hard locks you can try and go through the train tunnel to the east of there.

Go to where i the guy offered to help you But do not pay him as for it doesnt help you very much.

Run to of the first crumbled house on the left and hide next to the closest corner to next to that big hole and wait for the first barrage to stop and them to reload(usually about 10 shots) then run inside the next house down the NW and wait again for the barrage to end. Then make a run for the gate as for they will not shoot you past that point. :celebration:
