Possessed Khajiit tail!

So after I slaughtered everybody in Whiterun I came back to continue the main questline. While I was walking back I saw this weird moving object in the distance where a Khajiit camp use to be. When I walked closer I saw the female tail going crazy. As a good person which I am, decided to investigate and try to stop it from moving. I tried to cut it and burn it. Nothing worked.... So I preformed an excorsism! :smile:

I've noticed that many, many times. As recently as last night I killed two argonian bandits, and wondered if the tail movement was intentional or just an oversight. For example, maybe the nerves are supposed to keep the tail moving even after they are dead.

Both Argonian and Khajiit tails move even when they are dead.

yes i know they move. But i never seen one sticking up in the air like that.

When I killed Jaree-Ra, I did it from very far away, one shotting him with a poisoned arrow. He died so hard he want skidding across the floor. However, his tail did not move along with his corpse - it remained suspended in mid-air where his ass had been, attached to his butt via several long distorted green polygons. It wasn't moving, but then, it also was not moving when he was killed.

I think that tails are separate objects from the character model itself, sort of like animated clothing.

I think you are right.... Weird.. but its cool/funny finding these little glitches or problems in the game.

I get something similar. They always stick up and wave gently around in the air. I'm forever picking up dead Khajiit and turning them over just to stop it.
