I would just say start a habit of using those skills you want to raise more and (at least for a while) ignore the ones you don't. If you want to improve your archery, just keep using your bow more than you do your destruction spells. There's really no such thing as "rerolling" a character, just practice the skills you want to improve. The game is big enough that you can direct your character pretty much any way you want to just simply by doing "stuff".

If you're level 12.5 you're not even close to being "far in the game".

So... if you're not satisfied with your character, reroll.

At level 12 you can change what you are without a problem. the Game designers made it that way. Most of my fighters have some magic- why not?

I'm surprised by the, 'answer rast'. We all would like a quick response but that's up to the forum, isn't it?

No need to restart. If archery appeals to you more, start using a bow on everything, and put perks into archery going forward. Just use magic as your fallback until your archery improves, so those perks won't have been completely wasted.

Level 12.5 is nothing, i've been close to level 40 a few times & rerolled half a dozen times :hehe:

It's upto you really, that level is nothing to worry about if your want to restart & reroll. Unless your going to incorperate destruction into your charatcer as well, they might be 6 wasted Perks.

Also, dont invest Perks into skills untill you have tried out a few styles & settled on ones you prefer. Perks stack up untill you want to use them, no big to spend them right away.

Those perks are forever lost, assuming you never want to use them again (same with the magic/health/stamina choice). If you're sure you don't want to do magic, you should strongly consider restarting. Perks get harder and harder to come by later on. If you're not much of a perfectionist, all is not lost. level 12 is really not that far.

Just as everybody else allready told you, lvl 12 is NOT far into the game. I'm currently lvl 20 and haven't been to visit the greybeards
You can change your char's "main skills" at this time with no problem, it's just that those perk points will stay where they are and are "wasted"
if you really leave magic behind you.
So you can restart or just respec, the choice is up to you!

Even better, since you've probably invested in Magicka, use bound weapons to level up your arms skills before switching over to actual (tangible) weapons. I agree, level 12, you should have no problem switching unless you've done grinding in smith/enchant to get to 12.
