Hey so two things;

Its my second play-through, I'm at level 25 and still haven't received a letter from that 'friend'. I'm not shouting a lot but I still did in the first few quests I completed. Am I ever going to get one? Is there a way to trigger them? or is it glitched and I won't be getting them.

Second thing is minor, npc conversations (with each other) just suddenly stopped. I travel to new towns and villages and they don't talk to each other. In my first playthrough they didn't talk much either, but after the patches there were conversations everywhere. Now there are none.

I'm on xbox by the way.

It seems that on both of my playthroughs I didn't get a lot Letters from a Friend until I was past my 30s as if the game was prodding me because I was lollygagging and not going into some of the dungeons with the word walls. Now that I'm in my 70s I seem to get them after every dungeon so it could be the lollygagging thing.

I've never gotten a lot of conversations between NPCs, but always got a few.

PS3 with patch 1.4 for whatever that's worth.

Ahh, so its the lollygagging then. But thats good to know. I still haven't been to any major city except Whiterun, just doing the miscellaneous and some side quests, helping people out.
