Skooma Addict Character?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 10:10 am

I've been thinking of starting a new character who's addicted to skooma. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Sounds fun. It could be the death of you though

Skooma no longer has any addicting properties gameplay wise.

Damn. It was the death of me in Morrowind. I was in dire need of some stamina potions during this fight and all I had on me was some skooma. So it was either death or Skooma. From then on I was visiting a local friendly Khajiit, and stealing from what's his faces stash in Balmora (that Blades guy). Withdrawals were hell (the avatar is a cat going through skooma withdrawal). Now it's just like being hooked on Red Bull.

Skooma is a very lame stamina potion in skyrim. Im willing to bet there will be a few mods to fix it when the creation kit comes out.

Yeah that's true. I may wait 'til a mod comes out to make it properly addicitve.

Would be nice, if the skooma gave some benifit, trip-wise...like a particular sensitivity to word-walls, for example.
You can hear them from miles away, when tripping, something like that :P

I keep wondering why they didn't add any affects to things like skooma or alcohol. I mean the game is already rated M. They did it for Fallout.. Why not skyrim? So strange.
I'd love a GTA IV drinking affect.. stumbling about with your character if overly poisoned or drunk. Would give some aspects of the game a completely different sensation.

I was so hoping there would be a random chance to become addicted to Skooma, ala FO3. Alas and alack, not even negative attribute effects. Well, I'm just going to have to use the old imagination.
