What I would find helpeful would be for posters to say who they married, and what in-game benefit it gave you. I know for instance that the girl in Riverwood sets up a store and gives you some of the money (and sells to you). What other in-game benefit are there? I looked at the page above and it doesn't go into sufficient detail. Thanks.

All marriage is the same. You can move in with your new spouse or they can move in with you, they open up a shop and give you your share of their daily profits (100 septims) which stack over time if you don't collect. They also can make you a daily "Homecooked Meal" which boosts health, stamina and magicka regen 25% for 600 seconds and if you sleep near to them you get the "Lover's Comfort" bonus.

This is the same no matter the NPC. Ysolda doesn't buy the Bannered Mare, Muiri doesn't magically use the alchemy table more often, etc. Even battle-hardened and fiesty Aela becomes like a puppy once you marry her. The only real benefits of marriage are that you can potentially get a house early on in the game for free and you have a guaranteed income of 100 gold a day.

They need to add some more varied spouse dialog, instead of just reusing their normal MPC dialog. Every time I come home from a hard day's shouting, Muiri thanks me again for solving her "problem" which seems unintentionally funny now that we're married.

I make a nice wage as a Dragonborn (and leader of several guilds too) so it wouldn't kill her to buy some nicer clothes than that busted old leather dress and fix herself up every so often either. I even got her that sixy low-cut dress with the side slits like Nocturnal wears, but she won't put it on unless I make her.

That Home Cooked Meal looks suspiciously like an Apple Pie to me too...
