Have you ever thought of.......

Have you ever thought of walking up to a police officer or a security guard in real life and asking them if they took one in the knee, and if it was cause for their current job position?

I thought of doing this.... not sure how well they would react to my question.

Probably the same reason you wouldn't say "you humans are all racist" to a customs official. That's a shortcut to a cavity search.

The county sheriff where I live is a friend of mine and he plays Skyrim. He might get the joke, then laugh while he tazes you.

Just make sure you don't have anything incriminating on you when you do it. Maybe he'll ask you about your sweetroll

I would never dare ask an actual officer, but I do have a friend training to be an cop. I'll inspect his kneecap the next time we meet.

I am currently employed as a Security Officer who makes continual passes through and around buildings. What I'm allowed to say to the people I interact with must be quick, short, and sometimes repetitive.

I must walk continually unless the situation occurs where I'm allowed a chance to either lean against a wall, or sit in an area I am unable to be seen but only for a very short time, and must continually look as if I'm on duty. I am not allowed to mingle with the crowds, chat with the various visitors, or interact in any way with the activities or functions that are put on by the establishment I'm currently assigned to.

So, with that said - If someone walked up to me and said that, I'd probably start laughing and explaining how I know the joke it's referring to as I call the police for officer harrassment and trespassing.

I did... He said he did take an arrow to the knee but then he had surgery for it and rehab and joined the swat team... And yes this is true... He had apparently played Skyrim as well...

Another security guy reporting in. I'd answer you:
No, I haven't taken arrows or bullets to my knees, only blocked kicks with them.

Not everyone knows the joke, so they'd probably stare at you for a while looking if you're serious.

This.

If the security guard or Police knows the joke he`d probably smile, as I would and say, "No Lolligaggin!".

However, don`t push it or you might indeed find yourself in the back of a Police van!

If I cared to I might. In Finland police officers are public punching bags. You can't touch, but you can call names.
