How did you deal with Sigurd?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 5:14 pm

Everyone knows Sigurd! He works for Belethor at the general goods store and that we should go there.
Well from the first time I ran into this man who just loves to either state the obvious or be unbearably annoying I hated him and so I finally decided to kill him by slipping a frenzy potion into his pocket and the guards proceded to decapitate him, probably the most satisfying thing I have done so far.

If you killed him, how did you do it? If you didint why not?

I let him live. He's not worth the bounty.

I didn't kill Nazeem, Heimskr or Sigurd.. I am, however, planning on killing Angrenor Once-Honored and Rolff Stone-Fist in Windhelm.

I let him live. He's just a man who is trying to make a somewhat honest living, and he obviously seems proud of what he does if he keeps mentioning it all the time.

Right after I beat his face with my fists, a dragon swooped by and roasted him while he had low health. I didn't revert.

edit: nevermind I got him mixed up with a different guy in a different town

Nah, it's his employee, the feeble minded guy.

I let him be, his life is his punishment.

Werewolf form. No bounty, problem is shadow mere kills the khajiits caravans the moment I transform, so I will try a spell of frenzy.

You have to admire the irony of such a magnificently heroic name - a centerpiece of the greatest germanic saga ever - being used by such an utter dweeb :lmao:

In Skyrim, the solution to mildly annoying behavior is always murder.

Or suicide. Sometimes I find myself mildly annoying.

He reminds me of what I would be doing if I lived in Skyrim. Hiding in a city choppy wood to get by.

I wonder if you kill Belethor if he takes over the shop.

NPCs don't grow out of the clipping, you know. Can't go slaughtering them just cos they get flustered around me and start prattling nonsense. Although I did see Sigurd come out of my house once, so these days I'm much more suspicious of his "I'm a harmless simpleton" act. His emphasis on working for Belethor makes me wonder if he doesn't really work for the Thalmor or something... What!? Just cos I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not after me!

 how did you make him drink the potion? Or do npcs all "eat" their consumables at a specific time?

I don't kill many npcs due to what they say, but many children in skyrim just had such annoying lines. So much so that a mod that set children to non-essential was one of the first mods i downloaded.Balgruuf's rude boy and some braith girl were the first to go. Was fun casting a fury spell on them and watching the grown-ups do their thing.

There's a perk in the Pickpocket tree called Poisoned that makes you able to reverse pickpocket a poison into an NPCs inventory that they will then drink.

I wish civilization was like how it is in Skyrim. Someone remotely say something annoying to you?

Just walked up to him and sliced his face in half, used this time to kill Nazeem as well. My character doesn't fear a bounty, the guards fear him.
