damn100 lol i just started working on that cuz of thieves guild and dark brotherhood

so can i really cast a ice spike while being undected and stay that way with the illusion perk silence casting or whatever its called?

I'm not really sure if you hit someone if you will stay undetected. I know I cast a magelight and the wolves gathered around it and didn't look for me. I just mainly use Frenzy and let them kill themselves.

Silent casting nullifies all sound from your spells. It's useful if you wish yo turn invisible you basically have to have silent casting for that spell.
