Just finished the Labyrinth. (Spoilers?)

It was pretty freakin hard, lots of saves and deaths. I went in on my level 11 Mage Destruction/Conjuration. I had a Flame Atronach and Lydia as back up the whole time, could NOT have done it with out them, beat it on normal difficulty.

The last boss was freakin extreme, one hit from his lighting one shotted me, swear I had to play cat and mouse for 30 minutes with fireballs.

Anyone else think this place was hard? What class and at what level did you beat it on, and has anyone ever beat it on Master difficulty?

the place was impossible for me the first time, but then i figured out just to get conjuration to 100 and use 2 dremora lords to clear the way.

Magic and elemental resistances need to go up alongside armor. I shoot for at least 50% resistance to each element, plus 30% magic resistance from alteration perks, plus 15% MR from Agent of Mara. This plus 500+ health by Level 40 takes care of all my non-physical damage-soaking needs through the harder sections of the game. I also switch out the Gauldur amulet for a necklace of poison immunity when needed. I bump health twice as fast as either magicka or stamina from that point to keep the tanking ability through further levels.

I just fought Morokei again for about the 5th or 6th time. It's different every time depending on what you're doing and he's always tough. I bumped up to Expert a while back but I knew more on this trip so it wasn't impossible at Level 24. This time I immediately shouted Marked For Death at his escape from the bubble and it turned out that Lydia, using staves, really pinned him down with fire and I was behind a pillar using the Drainspell Bow I picked up on the way in. It took a while but I just kept taking shots until his health was gone. So much fun. Congrats! :tes:
