Especially when you start to go after the 3 thingy then is get really annoying especially for a level 7 Destruction/Conj mage like me and I don't even have any perks in conj yet... Any tips on not gettiny my butt beat by those freaking mage OO also, should I level more before I go into the quest more deeply?. p.s is there a place where I can get or steal nice magical gears? preferably without having to risk me life ...

Go back when you've leveled up some more.

Really? I found it rather easy. I joined the college as a pure mage at level 2.

If you're wearing robes then get your alteration up and use oakflesh or stoneflesh, early level conjuration is poor but a summoned creature acts as a great distraction allowing you time to cover or attack etc.

I did the quest you mentioned at level 12 (expert difficulty) on my Dunmer mage file, i had prepared my self beforehand though by stocking up on a bunch of restore health and magicka potions. If there is no way you can do it then i would go level up a bit more buy/find better gear and most importantly always carry a supply of health and magicka potions.

if you cast flames over and over instead of streaming it deals way more damage. try that...

What do you mean by "magical gears"? Are you talking about mage's gear?

Focus on the lightning tree of destruction, best spells imo. I did this questline at level 12 and I had no problems, however I had focused on mage abilities since day one so maybe it gave an advantage. Chain Lightning is very useful for dragurs. Also conjure flame atronach is good in some boss battles. Just remember: Attack from a distance at all times.

I completed a quest and got told your now the mage master of the college. I didn't even know I had been doing the mages guild story I thought it was just some side quests. Ha ha. That was my first guild that I had completed in the game.
