The Scenic "Tour of Skyrim" mod is awesome!
You can ride from city to city and enjoy the scenery for the entire ride.

If you pass a town, cave or whatever that you've never discovered your map will update itself right there. You can discover a lot of new places like that and check them out later or check them out right then.
The wagon will stop and let you out whenever you want then resume the trip when you reboard the wagon.

Your follower won't ride in the wagon but follows it and while animals and bandits ignore the wagon, they won't ignore your follower.
When they attack just tell the wagoneer to let you out then kill the bad guys, search and strip them then reboard the wagon to continue the trip.

This mod is indeed awesome. It is hilarious when the wagon hits someone

For me this is the best way to 'fast' travel when I don't feel like pushing the buttons myself.

Very! I've seen a horse being catapulted several miles away just because of it, and a goat crying out heartwrenchingly. The guards only said "Hey watch it!" or 'hitched a ride' between the wheels for a few meters.

The mod is very cool indeed. Shows how fasttravel should've really been. Too bad you can't take any followers with you yet (but he's working on that).

And just a heads up: the mod is actually called "ScenicCarriages", not Scenic Tour of Skyrim.

Yeah. On my first ride a Thalmor Judicucator that was arresting a Nord said we were interfering in official business so my wagon ran over him.

I think that in a new game (as soon as you have the coin) taking the Scenic Carrage Ride to all of the capitols will greatly help with fast travel in all of the quests.

When the wagon goes past anything (towns, farms, houses, caves, etc.) it automatically updates your map, eventually making fast travel available almost every where on the map.

This sounds like a tour bus, lol.

It does seem pretty cool, but I would spend all my time riding the thing and looking around and never getting off until everything had been discovered... so not good for somebody like me...

Also, I might miss the thrill of a sabre cat coming up behind me and tapping me on the shoulder.

I saw this mod quite awhile back. Was the jumpiness of the carriage itself ever smoothed out?

After trying out the mod, I was amazed, but I wish there were more towns you could travel to using this method.

If you buy the Guide to Skyrim Book from the carrage driver it has more destinations in it.

This mod is amazing But I have one question Can u get attacked by a dragon while ur taking the tour?

I don't know. It hasn't happened to me yet.

I don't think so. I've never been attacked by one anyway. And all the enemies you encounter just leave you alone while in the carriage, the animals etc. don't attack it.
