First time player here, since December I get to play about 4 to five hours a week. I have my first character who is now a level 17 with Dwarf armor and I carrry a 2 hander . I spent most of the game going from city to city (somtimes fast travel somtimes not). I have always been successful in finding a cave or fort and using a little sneak and critical arrow hits until fully discovered then a good shout and head first with two hander battle axe and keep swinging until nothing else moves. Then collect the loot and move on. Not alot of magic besides potions of healing. I focus all my upgrades on two hander and archery. I am now finding (last night I got to play for 4 hours straight) that the battle strategy is not as effective as I start closing in on level 20 and beyond. I know every situation calls for a different tbattle plan but as a whole will I have to start changing my tatics to one hander and sheild or duel weild? What about magic? Can I be successfull with minimum magic use?

Deel used Archery, with his sneaking skills, to kill from afar. Too many times, however, have the creatures started to get close to him. He used to use 1h + shield (light armour) but realised he couldn't specialise in so many professions, so he decided, mid-way through, to use Duel wielding instead and doge incoming attacks + Sneak kill those who are close. He patiently trains for the day where he'll be able to meld with the shadows mid fight.
