What's the secret to raising skills in Helen?

I beat on the guys with swords and magic. They lose health fast and recover slow. Anyway to turbo charge the beatings?

afaik just use ralof/hadvar as a dummy

never saw the point in training in helgen myself so i dont know if theres any reason to do it faster

In all seriousness, just put the difficulty on Master so they can take more damage.
