Are you like a thief how kills people for their money if you see them on the road. The other day there was a guy walking down the road and he tells me hes going to a wedding, I steal his stuff but when he yells guards I had to put an arrow in his knee and drag him into a nearby bush.

No. I never kill anyone just to get their money.

However... yes, I will get that money out of their inventories. And nowadays, I won't stop with the money, but also take their clothes and weapons, if I want them.

No. My characters never steal for no reason. They're honourable and honest people.
They sack the houses of people they can't kill. And pickpocket people they hate or are not as important or liked to get the level higher.

Nope, but any farmer that comes by telling me he's joining the Stormcloaks because "Ulfric's got the right of it" gets an arrow to the back of their head. Something about those guys bothers me.

Oddly. Ive never met a farmer going to join the stromcloaks. But if I did, I would kill them.

Oh, I met those people going to the wedding. I pickpocketed their money, jewellery, clothes and weapons. They were none the wiser

Yes, I'm a thief on the road, but I don't just attack without cause. I don't usually mess with travelers on the road unless there is a reason.

Now.....if someone gets chippy with me and I happen to have an empty black soul gem.......

I was once on the road between Helgen and Ivarstead and a guy riding a horse came past, I was on my way to windhelm. I just hd to take his horse.

Maybe highwayman would be a better term? Anyway, my current character doesn't have a criminal disposition. I've had so many random thief encounters lately that there's probably too much competition out on the roads for me to get a leg-up!!

Sacking (as in ransacking/stealing, correct?) from other people's houses and pickpocketing people you don't like/consider important for personal gain does not strike me as honorable or honest. Just my two cents.

Yeah sometimes i plunder and steal from whole cities including robbing Solitude blind and if i have to use force so be it, just a honorable mans daily work but ok it doesn't happen often but i've done it one time.

My thief will steal anything from anyone, but she has never killed anyone that did not attack her 1st.

My assassin doesn't kill for no reason, she does it only under contract or if attacked first, she will take loot off of the body of someone that attacks her first but doesn't steal otherwise.

Both stay as low key as possible when traveling or in towns.

Nope, never done that. If NPCs attack me first, well of course I retaliate. Oh, and I DO attack and kill Thalmors whenever I encounter them - especially when I see them escorting a prisoner for interrogation.

I remember those snotty nobles on the way to a wedding, they're descendants of the Countess of Bruma in Oblivion. I didn't kill them, resisting the urge. Later, I met them in rags because they were robbed by bandits.

My character doesn't steal unless he's railroaded into it by a quest, however, he does murder at every opportunity he gets...which is 34 times according to my stats, more if you decide to count all the Thalmor and Vigilants of Stendarr I've slaughtered for no reason other than the fact that I don't like them.

My class has always been Knight in the old games and that's the kind of play style I have, I play honourably because I am a Knight and that doesn't involve stealing.

No, I killed him because he was an arrogant little snot. I'm the Dovahkiin, Archmage, Harbinger, Listener, Master Thief, and Thane in every Hold- and this upperclass twit has the nerve to call me a peasant!

you cant justify stealing just because you didnt like them and still call yourself honourable.

I only pickpocket to get my level higher to force my level up. It's not for roleplay or gameplay , it's to get the level 50 and platinum trophy, lol. I hate pickpocketing, I'm only doing it this time because the more skills I level up the faster my level goes up.
So I usually pick people I hate but can't kill or low npcs like guards because their perception is low.
Guards are mostly obnoxious anyway.

And I only do the looting thing because the game won't let me kill everyone.
I'd kill Maven Black-Brier, but it won't let me, so I do my best to hurt her by taking all her stuff.
Same with Brynjolf the moron. Can't kill him, no house, so I loot his pockets instead.

They'd be dead these people, if the game let me.
I tried killing most on my hitlist, won't die.

My characters are straightforward fighters.
They want something or they hate someone, they kill them.
And when they will die, what better way to do more damage them than loot their stuff.


When they travel, they hurt no one who does'nt attack them.
In battle they're brutal and merciless.
They help good people and rid the world of scum.
In the most direct way possible.

who needs money to kill, i kill for the fun of it, lets just say those idiots never made it to there wedding
