You need an Amulet of Mara and someone you're close friends with (i.e. anyone you do a favor for who is single)

In order to marry someone you first have to go to the Temple of Mara in Riften and talk to Maramal. After discussing marriage with him you can buy an amulet of mara from him for 200 or get one for free by doing the Book of Love quest by talking to Dinya Balu in the same temple. After that just go talk to one of the potential marriage options while wearing the Amulet and if you have met the requirement relating to them (usually a quest) they will express interest in you. Just say yes, go back and tell Maramal you want to have a wedding, show up at the temple when he tells you, and voila! You are married.

Go to the temple of Mara in Riften and talk to a priestess (I forget her name) she will send you on a few Dr Phil missions all over Skyrim. Once those three missions are completed she will give you an amulet and unlock its power letting other NPCs take notice and giving you new dialogue options.

What, in skyrim or real life?

In real life: Be sixy and get an expensive ring for a greedy woman

In skyrim: Go to riften, go to the temple of Mara, or the Bee and Barb (it would have to be the first time you go to that inn) and talk to the priest/priestess. Ask to buy an amulet of Mara. Do all the quests available (not including the randomly generated ones) for the NPC you want to marry. After that, wear the amulet of Mara and talk to the person you want to marry. There will be a dialogue blabbity blabber.

Lol @ no one mentioning the dead person bug.

IF you get the corpse glith during your wedding (when you attend your wedding everyone shows up, someone falls to the floor dead) just go back to where you first found your future spouse and ask her to marry you again. Attend on time and everything should proceed as planned with the exception of a few NPC's talking about how gross the corpse is.

You can also drag that body into the other room and close the door and there shouldn't be any mention from NPC's about the corpse lol.

I hate when that happens.

Nope. You only have to talk to Maramel (the priest) about marriage and ask him if it's possible to have a wedding in the Temple. You can obtain the Amulet of Mara from any source, you don't have to buy it from the priest, or do any other specific quest for the Temple. I've usually found 2-3 in random loot by the time I get to the point where I'm thinking about tying the knot, I just hang onto one until I'm ready to use it.

Once you've talked to Maramel and have the Amulet, go find the person you want to marry and equip the Amulet. If they are interested in marrying you (read: you have fulfilled their requirements, usually the completion of a favor quest or in the case of some NPCs, an entire questline for their faction of choice) they will remark on the fact that you are wearing the amulet. Let the conversation progress until you have agreed to the marriage. Then go back to Riften and tell Maramel that you want to arrange a wedding in the Temple, he'll do all the work from there and all you have to do is show up the next day within the specified timeframe.

Try to be sixy and if you can't you're SOL.
