i dont understand!
i trained all the way up to 70 speech and invested money into the stores!
i got told that they would have 10,000-more gold now after you invest with them etc.

but no...

i just invested money with the blacksmith in solitude and went off for at least a week "game time" doing quests etc, came back with lots of loot and WOW

instead of having 800-1000 he now has 1579...

what......

its all on youtube! there's this guy saying "hurr 70 speech is kewl, everyone will have 10,000 bux! "

but all its done is increase if by 500...

is the youtube guy right or is there a bug? im on ps3

I think only one goes to 10,000, and that is a combo of things that causes a glitch.

invest in the riverwood trader, with perks he will carry 12,000 gold for your goods.

if you get the perk that allows you to sell stolen goods you can steal the gold claw and sell it back to him

10 contracts in the Dark Brotherhood already equals whatever is going on in here.
