Achievements and New character ?'s

Hi Guys,

first post, so apologies if this has been asked before, my bad search fu!

My main alt has earned 46 of the 50 achievements by playing on my xbox 360.

Two of then I am working on no problem, but the last two are a problem.

I am missing the very first one for completing the tutorial mission "Unbound". That quest is in my completed lists with all four bullet points filled in. I am a lvl 52 alt.

The other is one awarded for capturing a fort during the civil war main quest story line. I simply just did not get either of the named objectives as a target. I wonder if this got messed up by my choices at the Dragon conference during that quest when you have to give territory to the two sides?

Any advise will be appreciated.

Secondly can you explain what happens if I roll a brand new alt and start a new game with regard to my current alt? Do I lose my saved games from that or do we get a character select menu when you have more than one alt?

I am thinking that I could roll a new one through the tutorial and perhaps get that achievement awarded that way?

Am worried that I may lose all my progress so far by rolling a new alt. Thanks

On the PS3 a new character will overwrite the old one so I'd recommend backing up to a removable device or creating a new account on the console to play the new character in case it's the same on XBox.

I have two characters on my xbox, so that should be fine. I havent had any issues with the saves or anything, you just have to remember to keep an eye on the saves and not overwrite the wrong one. As for the achievements I dont know. Completing the tutorial quest should have given you the achievement, the only thing I can think of is starting a new character ad seeing if that will give you the achievement. As for the fort one try completing the civil war questline before you do the main quest. That should fix that for you. If it doesnt then I dont know how to fix it.

No it's not, xbox only overwrites autosaves.

I turned autosave off entirely, manual saves only. Less chance something goes wrong and gets overwritten.

I wouldn't advise that, trust me I've put allot of hours into it ( on xbox) and there will be times where you'll be going [ explentaive] I hope the thine autosaved. I do save allot, esspesially when playing on Master but I have been 'saved' allot of time by the almighty autosave.
