What character are you having a blast with?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 3:08 am

I am having a great time with my Altmer mage/assassin, but I am looking forward to my next character also. So I would love to hear what race/style characters people are finding fun to play so that I can get ideas for my next playthrough!

I love my heavy armored two-hand wielding Nord, we've been through some serious adventures together! But I'm also looking forward to getting started on my Breton Archer/Conjurer, which will be the exact opposite playstyle. I'm used to rushing in and pommeling everything in my way, lol.

I have four; Two werewolves and two vampires. A male and a female for each. I am having fun with my level 21 Bounty Hunter female, she's an Imperial and a werewolf. Uses the axe and is a pro at archery.

I love my Bosmer archer/thief/alchemist. Bows and poisons are her specialty.

I've enjoyed all three of my characters so far:
-Bosmer Vampire Assassin/Thief: Very fun to play, although Stealth geets kind of overpowered later on, so it can get kind of boring. Primary skills are Archery, Stealth, One-handed, Pickpocket, Alchemy, and Lockpicking (I haven't actually perked it, but it's high because of all the locks I pick). I never got around to using Illusion, but it'd probably make the game even more trivial. XD
-Dunmer Werewolf Battlemage: Also very good, though you'll want to use a mod that makes magic better (I use Balanced Magic). Primary skills are Heavy Armor, One-handed, Conjuration, Destruction, Alteration, Restoration. I generally play with a bound weapon in one hand and a spell in the other.
-Redguard Hunter: This is a rp character with his own "personal quest" http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1332229-your-personal-quests/. The character himself is fairly standard, but a nice change from my other two. Primary skills are One-handed, Light Armor, Block, and Archery.

Right not I'm mostly into my Altmer mage, Sinerinde. This guy has evil intentions and is only a friend to others if it's necessary, if he can make a fortune out of it or if it's just good to have powerful friends. He's a pure mage and will eventually become a feared outlaw necromancer, I believe - after he's taken the lead of the College, of course. He specializes in Destruction, Conjuration and Restoration magic. He's also a huge supporter of anything Daedric (especially the Lords' artifacts) and is a future Mythic Dawn fanatic. He is - or thinks he is - related to legendary 3rd era Camorans Mankar Camoran.

Apparently the Mankar from Oblivion wasn't a son of the Camoran Usurper...

Guy in my sig. Pure archer. No melee. No magic. Uses and abuses poisons to control opponents. Great fun, and as an added bonus, levels really slowly.

Inspired by Felix The Peaceful Monk, I just posted in the Cheats forum about a build that I did with 0 kills to level 5 doing Bleak Falls Barrow. It taught me a lot. Love this game; so many different ways to play. I'll always love my original character, a Breton Destruction mage/healer. She knows what she needs to do. :tes:

My Nord is mostly a warrior so far. He may evolve into a spellsword type down the road, but damage will be primarily through melee with magic as support. I plan to do everything with him as he lives for adventure and wants to see it all before the end has come. He's also a werewolf and has sided with the Stormcloaks, as I always like to side against the dominant power and those nasty Imperials tried to behead him. Primary skills so far: one-handed, block, heavy armor, smithing, restoration.

Heavy armor, 2h, restoration, conjuration as my main skills on master. Dabble in blocking and smithing (only steel and arcane smithing perks).

I'm going to branch out into block and 1h now as well, so I can play all the warrior styles.

Im having a lot of fun with my Breton tribal. Probably my favorite character right now. Im doing a lot of personal quests with him, he has his mind set on learning all of the shouts. I might get into the DB, but not sure yet.

I love my main, she uses mostly sneak/bound bow/raise dead/illusion. It's fun and versatile.

My husband is playing a heavy armor/dual wield bound swords (one hand and conjuration)/restoration character and it looks like a lot of fun, too. I love the kill animations he gets with the swords.

None, any longer. There isn't enough character build to have a blast with. I'm certain other's experiences are much different. But for me, Skyrim isn't about role playing, it's an adventure/action game. It may be the best adventure action game ever made- yes, I'm sure that is true.

My Nord assassin/thief.

I generally use sneak attacks from a distance, but if they get up close and personal I have a sword and a shield to introduce them too :P

Cienna Jervette – Hot female (obviously) Breton who’s family were murdered by putrid Thalmor pigs. She left her homeland for Skyrim on a mission to ruthlessly slaughter every one of them she can. She’s trying to systematically hunt every one of them in Skyrim down. She doesn’t give a rip about dragons (yet) or the civil war (yet). She just wants to make the pointy ear bastards PAY for their murder. At some point in time she may become totally consumed by the “dark side” and explore the Daedric Religions and maybe even the DB. I think that questline is stupid though, so I doubt she will join the Brotherhood.

But eventually, her sins will catch up to her and she will be arrested, tried and sentenced to death for slaughtering the wicked Thalmor. This is when I will pretend she actually escaped Helgen, and begin her journey of redemption and her transformation into Dovahkiin. But it’s been a blast just hunting down and butchering the racist Thalmor dogs!
