It was never a remake for obvious reasons, It has its similarities as Solistiem (SP) is a island just off the coast of Skyrim.

And evolution can change things dramatically in 200 years.

Nords call any sea-mammal a horker.
The ones we see in skyrim Are not the seal-like creatures of Solstheim.

OMG, Skyrim takes-place in 1812... I know those NPC's and that stray dog! I think that is the INN at Riverwood. Amazing how much dogs have changed in 200 years! Damn evolution!

Our ears do seem smaller now... What? Did you say something paw?

What? Im no Evolution expert but i don't think 1 million years would make the Blood Moon to Skyrim change.

BUT, we could just assume they are a different species.

Rules and rationality are for reality... They have no place in fantasy worlds...

Like he said... Each game is a new game... They just contain some elements from previous games... apparently to save some production time only... Not for in-depth game reality.
