I decided to try and even out the odds, make things as fair as possible in that situatiom. Behold, my Skyrim character prepared to face Vader:

I've covered him with Ebony armor (which others in the original topic stated was unbreakable, so could possibly withstand a little damage from Vader's blade), and fashioned a makeshift lightsaber for him that runs on magicka. The hilt is simply firewood and steel, with a soul gem connected on top so that the blade can manifest itself. I've also spent some time up with Parthinaax on the peaks, meditating on the dragon words, to increase force sensitivity, or the equivalent. Skywalker still has more power there, but I think it's a fair match.
What do you guys think?

Darth Vader would mop the floor with the Dragonborn. Dragonborn looks like a rank amateur compared to the awsomeness that is Darth Vader...plus, he's got wayyy cooler powers than the Dovahkiin does...and he looks great in black.

mess with dovakiin you mess with nords everywhere, and not even the dwemer had guns in TES, good luck now gunless 501st unless dovakiin meets vader on starwars terms, in which case, mes with dovakiin mess with the rebellion!!

Not necessarily. In the Original Trilogy movies Darth Vader is about 60-80(forget his exact age). So in order for a fair fight it would take place immediatly after Episode III. This means He is at his best, he still has his clone army (which is the best army in the galaxy), and he is younger. There also was no strong rebellion at this point.

Also, limiting the 501st to no guns makes no sense. They (and the Nords), are to use weapons from their own time. If Nords werent so useless they would realize how effective magic is. But because they dont, they have nothinf but bow and arrows for ranged attacks (excluding catapults which are artillery and using the 501s artillery would obliterate the Nords before they can do anything).

Darth Vader would win hands down. I find your lack of faith disturbing if I must say.

My Dragonborn assassin might get relatively close to Vader before getting Force-slammed into a mountain, or a Force-guided lightsaber sliced his head off. No Dovakiin would stand a chance in a straight-up fight.

oh if we bring the brotherhood into this then vader was dead before he was even born, noone lives when the brotherhood wants you dead (other than those chosen by the gods, of course, but those sometimes go on to join the brotherhood)

I like Dovahkiin, but Vader would own his ass bad. It was a pathetic move by Lucas to make it so that young Skywalker could defeat his father in combat after training for a year when Vader has been doing it for over 30...
