(1) Get ready for the OMG I HATE WOW posts.

(2) Nice location. How's the real estate market in R'lyeh these days?

(3) Daedric definitely looks the most evil of the armors. Ebony just looks sleek to me. Regarless, if you're just creating the character it'll be a while before you can find the necessary stuff to make Daedric armor.

(4) http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1330219-impossible-to-play-a-pure-necromancer/page__st__210 contains (near the end, I think) some interesting comments about building a Death Knight, if by that you mean a combination of a Necromancer and a warrior.

It's your game. Play it the way you want. Not the way the forum wants you to. in your mind what would a death night look like. Armor, I'd say ebony mail. It's got a creepy cool smokey effect. Weapons, bound weapons look creepy cool.

My death knight (didn't know that this was what he was called when I designed him, never played WoW) goes like this:

Race: Orc
Stone: Ritual stone
Skills:
Two-Handed, specializing in hammer
Heavy Armor
Conjuration
Restoration
Enchanting
Smithing

The best town to live in is Markarth. What I did was go through all the Dwemer ruins for metal and soul gems; and go round all the Orc camps for mining. Then I focused on getting Enchanting and Smithing up to max. In fact, you never need to go beyond being able to make and improve Dwarven armor. Just do all the Dwemer related quests. I joined the Mage's Guild but just for access to the teachers. There are certain shouts that make life easier, you can work that out for yourself.

This type of character has trouble fighting dragons at low level, but generally is "god mode". Your gear is great, your attack power is great (over 400 with unenchanted Dwarven hammer in my case), your armor rating hits the cap, you basically just whack everything with a power attack and it falls over, and zombies are there for fun. When you go beserk, you are unstoppable. So just don't come back and complain the game is too easy.

WoW Death Knight

2-H Sword
Heavy Armor
Destruction: Ice
Conjuration: Necromancy
Illusion: Fear/Rage perks/spells

Enjoy.
