Archery and destruction a good idea?

I really love archery but I want to use destruction also. I would like to make a character that uses a 2 hande sword, heavy armor, destruction, block, illusion and still be sneaky but is it worth being sneaky if I'm not gonna use archery? Or does a 2 handed weapon benefit from sneaking?

So basically you want all at once. That's totally achievable, but you will only have 80 perks to spare in total.

Lol I can just take off the boots and people dont hear me so easily. I just can't get myself to use light armor. Haven't been able to since morrowind.

2 handed weapons are the heaviest in the game. So they don't exactly AID sneaking. Neither does the noisy heavy armour...

Archery pairs well with sneaky. Destruction magic is okay. But bear in mind that sneaking and then firing off magic gives away your position FAST.

Remember though that using Destruction magic requires a free. Having a bow or greatsword equipped means both hands are busy.

Steed Stone or perks remove armor penalties.

It’s probably workable, pretty much eveything is but you’re spreading yourself a bit thin. Remember you only have a limited number of perk points and you’re going to have to be splitting between health stamina and magicka . 2 handed dose not really benefit from sneak. It gets 2x damage but there is no perk to increase its damage further so if you’re not going to use archery I wouldn’t bother. Destruction requires a free hand and both archery and 2 handed use both your hands so you 're going to have to be switching between them which is more trouble than its worth IMHO.

It really cheapens the game that they did that. I can see stones and perks that
reduce the penalty, but unhindered sneaking in full heavy armor? That is just balls out retardation. Why not just have a mammoth sneak up on a dragon that is perched on a watchtower and backstab him with his tusks?

You could. Two handed weapons will gain no damage boost from sneaking though, only one handed weapons. Although you can still do Sneak attacks (2x damage I believe, maybe 3).
Destruction is loud, so be careful when sneaking, use for slowing down enemy's once they see you, or setting off fire traps.

With enough perks in sneak and heavy armor you can start to sneak efficiently in heavy armor. It would be fairly difficult, but not impassible.

It could be done, however your character will have a hard time using all those together in any scenario and many of them conflict, where it requires a costume change or weapon change just to make use of them. It gets tedious after a while and leveling up lots of different skills makes your life harder as your opponents get tougher.
You won't be sneaking effectively in heavy armor. Also magic requires a spare hand at the least so you won't be doing it while using a bow or a 2 handed sword.

You'll quickly find through playing the game you will tend to favour a certain playstyle and hopefully it comes sooner rather than later.
Since if you start adding tons of perks into all those magic classes then realise actually you prefer swing your sword or archery, you just lost alot of perk points.
The game does favour those who specialise and really there is alot of replay value so there is nothing wrong with deciding now, I want to play as a very specific character and later doing something totally different to experience the other stuff you wanted to do.
