Farkas leave me be!

I'm not complaining, so all you keyboard warriors with no girlfriends just chill. I love the game.

anyways the silliest glitch i've run across yet thus far is Farkas the guard. No spoilers here. Sure im in the middle of a certain quest line but this guy chases me like a guard and then instead of attacking or attempting arrest he just engages in normal conversation....with drawn 2H sword(is it a spoiler that he uses a 2H? ). and when I run he follows.

I'm no pure RP player so I fast travel everywhere and its awesome. Alas Farkas the whiterun guard won't allow any such immersion ruining garbage.

Maybe this is Beths answer to the 400 or so whiny RP crybabies who worship RP over graphics or badassness? a NPC who removes your ability to allow temptation of fast travel. I guess their is a handful of folks who will rejoice tonight.

again... because i know there is some guy who watches way too much big bang theory and is getting angry thining im bashing skyrim...I am not, I love the stuff....everyone does...even guys who would normally be playing NBA JAM.

hehe nah, I kinda want to finish the quest line. It is very weird. He runs at me angry and wanting to fight....and just chats with me.

Sounds like he's being very passive aggressive xD

I dunno, never had that happen before. Hitting and then sheathing would be the only thing I could think of to try, but I guess if it's for the one quest you can just deal with the fast travel thing.

Ah, so I'm not the only one who's run into this little nuisance. I like Farkas, but that gets annoying real fast. And no, I'm not gonna hit/maim/kill him either. *cough* NPC Editor *cough*

Not sure i understood what the problem is, but if you are attacked by an NPC you don't want to kill, a calm spell could help.

This is a known and annoying bug. As far as I know there is no fix for this. Do you recall exactly when he started doing this? Were you on any particular companion or other quest?
