Follower Carrying Capacity....

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 8:38 pm

Wondering about this...I just moved all my junk from my home in Whiterun over to my home in Riften. My follower is Goldir, and he was only able to carry 203 pounds total..keep in mind this is stripped down to his...bare essentials..LOL..wondering if there is a bug with that? Shouldn't they be able to carry at least 300 pounds?

If you fire them, then rehire they lose their base armor weight in carry capacity, I believe thats how it works. Just a bug.

I wish they allowed you to remove everything they have, even their 'hidden' armor and weapons. Who cares if I don't give them any weapons, if I'm going to use them I'll give them armor and weapons. That would stop them using their [censored] hunting bow over my good bows.

Put everything into one chest, then tell your follower to loot the chest. Infinite carrying capacity.

However, armor picked up using this method sometimes glitches and becomes "starting armor" that you can't take back.

Dead Thralls may be the most underappreciated followers in Skyrim.

Outside of RP, which they have plenty of uses for, they are a-freaking-mazing.

Who can be dissatisfied with Necromancy?

Oh right...

Well technically normal followers have the same unlimited carry capacity, the encumbrance is only a functin of the UI. for instance if you dump everythign in a box and tell them to take everythign in the box you can put 1000's of lbs of crap on them. However a bug marks al lthis gear as there stuff and it will them be marked a stolen when you take it off them.
