What Kind Of Character Should I make?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 7:41 am

I Want to play through Skyrim as an NPC for entertainment purposes. I am just having a hard time deciding on my character. What race, name, male/female, ugly, pretty, etc. So please share your ideas, even silly hate-mail would be nice.

Hunter? Grab some Hide Armor, gloves, boots, maybe a cowl... trot around on a horse and just wander the land? Maybe even stick to a particular region.

What do you mean by NPC? It actually stands for non-player character, so I think you are most likely having some problems with terminology. Are you just trying to be a random commoner instead of a hero or something?

What do you mean by NPC? You are aware that it stand for non-player character, right? Are you just trying to be a random commoner instead of a hero or something?

Do what an NPC does. Try not to adventure, as most don't go out looking for it. Don't steal, sleep, eat regularly, walk everywhere. If situations demand adventure then yes I will do it.

I will share it with you folks so you can read my illiterate gibber jabber on my daily life as a NPC in Skyrim.

Well, if that's what you're after, a hunter might not be a bad idea.

Or, if you wanna cheat the idea a bit, vigilante! That way you can tell yourself "I'm not adventuring, I'm a concerned citizen doing something about all these bandits on our roads!" ;)

Smithing would be a good way to play a "commoner" type character. Maybe an Orc or Nord out to take Eorland's place as the greatest smith in the land. Or even just a broken down old man mining ore to smelt and sell for drinking money.

or maybe a traveling preacher type.. you could walk or ride picking flowers and making pots for cash .. there is an abandoned alchemist hut you could use as a base. Walk about chatting to people .. just killing in self defense
