Thats a common, and strange bug, it's happened to me before. Atleast you didn't get a 4th louis whose whole lower body is underground, haha .

Actually for me it started off 1 Louis in the ground. I shocked him with the Staff of Lightning and it jolted him out of the ground. Later on 2 more Louis had spawned right there.

I wrote about this a day or so ago, but the thread apparently was deleted before I could post pics. I also mentioned that later he attacked me while I was trying to talk to the caravan merchant. The guards killed him, lol.
