anyone looking forward to the 1.4 patch?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 7:09 am

The amount of time they have had on this... its been over a month since the last patch... I've got big hopes things like balance, loads of quest bugs etc will have been fixed. I hope it comes out in the next week.

And for PS3 users it is going to fix the lag issues to thats good too.

Looking forward more to the Construction Kit. But I really haven't had any major problems with the game...

If it allows me to play the character I started after 1.2 and wouldn't load once 1.3 was installed, AND doesn't break anything else, then yes.

God yes. For the lag fix, I might finally be able to get past level 25 with J'derras

Edit: and my Argonian mage Rees-Kai

while the patch prob will help. i think the most exciting part will be the creation kit. for certain the modders will make this game perfect and add so much to it

This.

My game is running just fine, so the CK is the one thing I am looking forward to.

Assuming the 1.4 patch is what's holding back the Creation Kit (they probably wouldn't want to release it, then immediately have to update it when the patch was released), I am definitely looking forward to it's release.

Patch 1.4: Dogs can now fly, also backwards.

Based on the past pacthes, I'm not hoping for much.

Can't wait for it. This is likely going to be the biggest and best patch yet. Now if only they would provide us with a status update...

My game has not experienced any bugs, so I don't really care. It doesn't need fixing.

I'm excited for the dlc announcements, however.

Thanks for reminding me.

(Makes sure Steam is set to "do not update". Of course, it probably will anyway... :stare: )

Pointless releasing the Construction Kit if the game is broken, I just hope the 1.4 patch fixes more than it breaks.

Of course it isn't pointles. Go look at the UOP, for example. Many small (and big) bugs Bethesda didn't fix.
I'm more interested in the CK. Will it look kinda the same as the CS? What extra options have been implemented? Only time will tell...

I'm almost done with the game, so it's a little anticlimactic for me. It will be nice to finish a few hung quests and get some unneeded quest-releated items out of my inventory.

Do they have a link as to the details of it, the "What we are working on" does not really say much

Unless the patch makes everything just like Morrowind then there is nothing to look forward to except a miserable death.

I'm interested in what Beth has fixed and changed, hopefully they don't go too overboard on the balancing as most of that stuff is player initiated.

Nah, to h... with the patch. I just want the CK. And honestly, I don't know whether they're holding the CK back due to the patch or because they can't get the Steam integration to work well, but either reason would be pissing on the PC base, so I'm really hoping it's something else.

You mean a patch that, upon installation, automatically runs TESIII.exe if it's in your PC? No, not gonna happen...
