Unhindered Affects Sneak?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 1:46 am

Can I get a DEFINITIVE answer on this? I have searched all over the internet, and these forums, and it seems like everyone is divided on whether or not the Unhindered Perk (and Conditioning for that matter) has any effect on your sneaking ability, namely noise.

Clearly these perks remove the weight of your armor, and the weight of your armor is a factor of how much noise you make. However, it seems like some people believe that as far as stealth is concerned, this weightless armor stat does not apply when calculating sneak.

I am sure that through the PC version's console, someone could look this up, but I have an xbox, so not an option. Any real numbers on this issue would be appreciated, or at least some evidence of what the correct answer is. Thanks!

  • I guess that would kind of break the game in terms of drawbacks for heavy armor. 99% sure is comforting to know, but I'm looking for 100%! I think I will still get the perk, since I'm an archer, I can use all of the movement speed I can get, especially for kiting. Thanks that-guy.
