Remarrying is not an option in this game.

You only get one marraige. If you let your spouse get killed, revert to an earlier save. No other options.

On PC, you can revert your marriage status and re-marry after a spouse death.

The exact command escapes me but it's easily enough googled or searched for on the wikis.

You need to buy a mourning outfit from Radiant Raiment in Solitude and then wait ten months.

Anyways, if you're playing in PC, you can resurrect your wife by just going to the console commands (~) then click your dead wife and type "resurrect" (w/o ") and "poof" she's alive...

I thought I read somewhere to drop the Amulet of Mara and pick it back up which, after waiting a while they say you should be able to get remarried. Don't ask me where I read that, you can look for it if you want.

I can't help you with getting re-married, but some advice for your next character: Pick a wife that isn't good at fighting and leave her at home and find a different companion to follow you around.

Maybe you should go back to Riften and talk to this Moramal priest person, he's in the Temple of Mara in Riften. If he can't help you, kill him!

i read an article from a game newsletter that says you can remarry, put the amulet back on and try, the problem is the corpse of your ex might show up and ruin it...it says you need to sleep 24 hours and start over with your fiancee to maybe fix the glitch...haven't been there yet myself, just heresay...but might be worth a try

My wife died too, (died in battle) my condolences btw. :(
Now I have three 'Amulets of Mara'+ two wedding bands & still no takers. I'm still damn handsome too.
I need to try the "drop the Amulet/s & pickup re-equip. I don't think it'll work though.
