Food bar in Skyrim

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 6:46 am

Long time ago,I'd played in game called Eye of the Beholder ,old game from 1989 on Amiga ,great rpg game,in a game was a hp bar,mp bar and food bar, I think that missing in Skyrim,
Skyrim could be more realistic with it,
There is a lot of food, give us small points of hp and this is wee bet weird,
Healing potions, magic, etc is ok but food should be separated .
Our heros could be die ,without eating after 1 or 2 weeks, or get weak after few days.
What You's think about it?
Skyrim its epic anyway !

Having an optional hardcoe mode would be preferable. Food, sleep, water and hypothermia would be what I would like in a hardcoe mode.

Food in this game could take on more of role rather easily. I don't know if on all my characters I want the requirement to eat, among other things. That can get too "sims" like. However as a hardcoe Mode, it could work.

Of course, the first thing that has to happen is the health and stamina contributions (or reductions) have to be tweaked on food items.

I have stated in another thread that Cold should effect people too, but only during storms or swimming in cold water, not just walking around in snowy areas. I have sweated walking across a snow covered field in real life wearing a T-Shirt. This could be countered by clothing or potions/spells (resist frost to make it simple)

I agree. It would be nice to see some sort of reaction from the blizzard/stormy conditions, like not being able to run as fast, endurance go down faster in battle, just little things like this wouldve took the game to another level.

Then it would take more time for them to get hypothermia.
