WorstBest Implemented Feature

List a feature of the game that was implemented the best, and one feature that was implemented the worst.

Worst: Magic System.

Besides having a severe lack of spell effects, they removed spell creation. Destruction not scaling also ruined that whole branch for me. Alteration has hardly any spells and is both boring and useless. They took the magic out of magic.

Best: Archery.

I feel like Legolas with all of the perks! They did a great job of making archery a fun play style. One of the best implementations of a feature in Skyrim. My sole complaint is that the trajectory is a little goofy.

What do you guys think was the best/worst implementation of a feature?

best: daedric quests. the way you personally interacted with every daedra lord, rather than just standing in front of a statue.

worst: making every weapon of a category (one-handed, two-handed, shield, and bows) perform exactly the same. I miss the control that Oblivion had in choosing between a thrust attack or an attack that had a chance to proc an additional effect like paralyze or knockdown. I think shield bashing is too effective and spammable and a bash attack does not belong on a bow. A bow, a torch, and a shield, and blocking with a two-hander should all behave roughly the same, blocking perks should aplly for all of them except for shield charge. A character shouldn't do an automatic punch-motion just because an enemy is blocking, and animations for swords and axes and maces should not all be the same. Also, I get stuck in a running animation a lot and unless I stop swinging my weapon, I cannot stop running forward. Not good.

I never thought about this before, it is pretty bad.

Worst: I agree with you, Magic System. The lack of Spell Creation really svcked. I see why they had to do it, because of new animations for each spell, but it would have been nice to just select the basic spell, like Flames, Fireball, etc. then choose the effect.

Best: Improved Dialogue, both with the world continuing while you converse, being able to talk in third person, and just more dialogue options, and better conversations.
