Priest - Character IdeaInteresting RP

Recently watched the movie Priest and although it didn't get the best ratings i rather enjoyed it. For those who haven't seen it please see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0822847/

Anyways i was thinking wow what a great idea for a roleplaying character in skyrim.

I was thinking this as a build:

Race: (Any really)

Main skills: One hand, Unarmed (i know this isn't technically a skill), Alteration?, Sneak, Speech, Illusion

Role play aspects: Selfless, God worshipping, wears dark robes and also an amulet of a god. Should hunt vampires solely but also killing other forms of undead as well. Should attend chapel every day, pray before meals etc. (And basic rp rules: eat drink sleep) Priests don't believe in guns therefore shouldn't use a bow and arrow i suppose.

Anything else to add?

Wouldn't you basically just be playing a Vigilant of Stendarr?

But what you describe as a Priest, is what the Vigilance of Stendarr do. They got around, preaching about Stendarr, while also hunting down Undead like Vampires, Werewolves, Skeletons, etc.

I always wished that there was a cleric faction in the game that functioned similar to the guilds in Oblivion. There could be levels to attain such as Pilgrim; Priest/Priestess and Saint. A lot of folks complained about the difficulty in playing a "good" character in Skyrim. Perhaps the clerics could be dedicated to warring with and providing alternate outcomes for the daedric quests in the game. Powers could be earned for dedication to certain Gods (Speech/Dibella, etc) and doing good deeds for citizens. Pentance by visiting shrines could be required for indiscriminate killing or other crimes against the innocent. Death or banishment would accrue to the corrupt. Just always seemed like an interesting concept to develop given the strong religious overtones in both Oblivion and Skyrim. I would love to attempt to play a Priest or cleric in Skyrim, with the proper tools.
