Enchanting Needs Visual Reward

First, I know lots of people come to gripe but I love the game. I already have three different characters going (Maybe make that four). The depth of content and customization of gameplay is insane.

I do have one criticism however. If I could change one thing I wish enchanting was different. At its present state, enchanting is unrewarding in all but a sense of functionality. It deserves to be not only visually rewarding but should not negate the thrill of the hunt for unique, powerful objects found in the game world.

I have two general concepts, any of which may be in progress. First, each game item has one (two if perked) slots for enchanting, even found items. Players could add an enchant if there is an open slot or you could let them overwrite previous enchanted slots. Second, not as cool but more feasible, make a small DLC that includes a large pack of unenchanted items of awesomeness.

Cheers!

I think when you master enchanting your head should be replaced by a giant football helmet with a massive sign on it that reads " Neener neener, now none of you can hurt me ever!"

Yeah I think enchanting and smithed gear is a bit overpowered. I just wish I looked overpowered.

Nah, Seeing my weapons slightly glow with stamina damage is enoygh for me, Enchanting armor is game breaking for me, makes everything too simple and I'll always win with fully enchanted gear...(I do use gear if its enchanted with +HP/+Stamina IF I find it and its Steel/Fur/Hide, whichever im using, I only use those, Daedric/Dwarven/Ebony/dragon/Elven unless youre a high elf that is, looks waaayyyy out of place, Glowing armor would just be worse) But thats just me, If you want to be Over powered and look it, More power to you, But I dont.

I liked the weapon enchantment visuals in Dragon Age Origins, I wouldn't mind seeing a flame enchanted sword in Skyrim that had actual flames coming off of it. I'm not sure about armor though. The slight glow that enchanted weapons (and enchanted armor when you're looking at it in your inventory) have might be OK for armor, but in a lot of cases the color of the enchantment would clash with the armor itself, so maybe its better as it is.
