Nope, I knew it was a bandit because I saw him sleeping and I saw him get up and turn to ash.

Better than fighting a invisible dragon, I can tell you that. Freaking blind firing with a bow -.- Took probably 1-2 hours to take that svcker down..

Draugr most of the time fall through the floor when you sneak kill them in their sleep.
Dragons can be rarely spotted having spiders, bears, chaurus on their neck or head, going around in circles.
So I don't think this is the weirdest thing that could ever happen. Skyrim, just like every other Bethesda game, is full of bugs and glitches.
