A simple thing i miss

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 10:02 pm

It's a small little thing I miss from Morrowind but I thought it was amusing.

I miss the Dunmer insulting me with unique words like you little fetcher, you N'wah, and filthy swit. Wouldn't it be amusing if that in Skyrim or in future iterations of this series its added that certain races give their own unique little insults.

This is a random thought that crossed my kind a few minutes ago.

The only one thing I heard was milkdrinker.

What are the others?

I am talking about unique made up words that are insults.

Yep. It's one of the little touches to the game that made me smile.

Fight some dunmer, and just kite them around. You may need to fight the ones in the cities, can't remember if I've heard the lines from bandits and the like. You'll hear the insults.

I have heard of milkdrinker and the The Dunmer say your a rewired to your own race, I think I might have been called a swit once.

Is there any unique and interesting insults that are fictional words so I can keep an ear out for them.

Talk with/fight with dunmer? A dunmer monk in Dawnstar, for instance.

I think I might try a Dunmer in the city, is it only Dunmer in the city?

I have not created an evil or a character that causes trouble yet in towns anyway. I am pretty sure I have been called a swirl once by a Dunmer thief now that I think about it, not really sure tho.

I would like to see some unique insults from all races similar to the ones in Morrowind that would be funny to be sure.

N'wah translates to, "not a man" but carries a much stronger meaning than being called a, "boy". It's considered the most severe Dunmer insult.

Fetcher is something sensored, think of another f word you know to get the meaning though not as potent.

S'wit I actually forget.

...and if it makes you feel any better, see my signature and take it to heart. :)
