Been there done that. PC-RP'd a greedy, powerhungry. fur wearing nord battlemage with lot's of chip on her shoulders.
Anyway... I PC-RP'd as far as possible on this game. Since Morrowind I have always had the feeling that all other games would feel constricted... Oblivion and Skyrim pretty much etched in stone my thought of Morrowind as the only tru sandbox game i've ever played. All doors could (if you had the skill) be opened, all NPC's killed (even gods)... In Morrowind... you could even fly if you wanted.
nowadays some doors require keys, some NPC's are essential... (more important than Vivec ever was?). The open world has gotten a little less open... and even though i think this hinders good PC-RPG'n... I still did it.
AND I STILL THINK THIS GAME IS SHORT!
ps. My referral to Roleplaying games on PC's as PC-RPG is due to the fact that i wan't to distinguish these from true roleplaying games, you know the good old fashioned ones where you in person take on a role... and just don't guide some pixelated code that you have given a role. This is only a personal opinion and i know that for example there are milions of WOW-players that would argue that they infact play RPG's, a disbelief which I in turn gladly grant them since i have no true need to discuss their and my personal definitions of what roleplaying is.
