Khajit names

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 8:41 am

I want to make a Khajt mage character, and I want a name which is actually Khajit-like. Is there a guide to what means what, like what does "Ri'saad" stand for? Or is it all just... made up?

If you'd just like to look at some names and choose one you like, http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/?p=modding_data/ngen would help.

  • Dar = Thief, clever
  • Do = Warrior
  • Dro = Grandfather/Grandmother
  • J/Ja/Ji = http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit_Names#, Young advlt
  • Jo = Wizard, Scholar

  • Qa = Unknown
  • Ra = Shows Status
  • Ri = Status, often tribal leader

OK thanks for the help! + Sorry, I realize I spelled Khajiit wrong every time I 'tried' to say it in this thread. >_<

Females generally don't have the prefixes in their name, and have a lot of syllables, double-consonants, and gratuitous T's and H's.

Some of the other name elements may have specific meanings, but we don't have enough of a lexicon for the language to interpret them, if so.
