Just joined the companions and my first assignment was "hired muscle" and my quest was to intimidate Alvor in Riverwood.
However, when I got there he was dead. I even tried raising him as a corpse with no luck....now he is just a pile of ashes.
Now I'm on ps3 so there is no way to fix this like I read about on the pc. And there is no way to take another quest from someone else in the companions...they say finish this quest first.
Please fix this glitch or tell me what to do.....that's an entire quest series that I can't enjoy!!!! Thanks.

I feel your pain man. I have feandal in riverwood and hes dead. No clue what to do and im pissed. They need an update/ patch.

Same I have to clear out some wolves from a den but I already slaughtered them.
