I was looking through the reports from different websites on the status of the 1.4 update when I read several that said it was available for pc currently while for the console it was still being 'tested'. On the pc this 1.4 patch was known as a 'beta' patch one which was said to be installed 'at your own risk'. Not sure if it's going to be the same for the consoles but I was under the impression that the 1.4 patch was supposed to have been worked on for all this time and been a definite patch to work out some of the kinks in the game, not a beta patch they weren't sure that would break something else or not...what is it they've been testing and working on all this time if the 1.4 patch they release is only a beta that they have no idea will break anything or not? Also I was under the impression that the creation kit was being released with the 1.4 patch, was I incorrect under this assumption. Perhaps i'm jumping the gun but that's why I came here as I didn't want to go simply by articles posted on gamer websites or even on IGN. If they are correct and the 1.4 patch turned out merely to be a incomplete unpredictable mess for the pc and the kit wasn't even released with it I have to admit to being a bit tiffed. Anyway, would appreciate any insight or info as that's why I came here...to try and get some facts from bethesda themselves

as far as i know there's no 1.4 patch yet. maybe that "1.4 beta" was some mod, idk

Your definitely jumping something. Your post is loaded with negativity...at least wait until the patch is released to start complaining about it.
There's a sticky on the forum where they give info on the patch and CK.

Well IGN even says that 1.4 beta patch is out on steam, go to settings and sign up with the beta patches and it patches skyrim to 1.4...search for skyrim on bing or other search engine and it says it in bold...is why I was asking but they definately say a 1.4 patch is out...not a mod
