Weird random stuff

Every once in a while, something odd will happen..and I don't just mean raining mammoths.

Today, I was exiting Solitude to park Jz'argo outside because I had to kill someone in the city and followers just agro everything in sight and I wanted to make as clean an exit as possible, and for some bizarre reason, there was a skeleton up on the wall next to the gate shooting arrows at the Khajiit traders down below.

At that moment, the Courier showed up and kept me from shooting back (it was OK, it was just a skeleton, and the Khajiit were more than up to the task of taking it out.)

Curious, I was unable to find a way up there from outside to even loot the skellie, but found a way up to the wall inside the city (No dead skellie, since the city's a different zone, alas) - but this was the first time I'd ever been up on the wall, so I figured I'd do a bit of exploring. This turned out to be incredibly useful timing, since it gave me a perfect spot to plop an arrow into my target without anyone spotting me, and a free and clear path back to the city gate.

Wonder if that skellie had anything to do with a solitude quest? I guess I'll find out...or, as Jzargo says, I might not, we shall see.

Thanks for the tip for when I get to that quest!

As for the Skellie issue, no idea, seems pretty funny.

I was walking down a road and a courier ran by. I decided to see if he had anything good in his pockets. He had a few interesting items, but I decided not to steal them. I was feeling generous. I let him go, and two seconds later he was mauled to death by a bear. So I killed the bear and took his stuff. That's one of the reasons I make sure not to fast travel everywhere. You miss too much.

Speaking of couriers, Imperial couriers turn up in the strangest places.

Sounds like something out of Minecraft where skeletons just spawn in the most unlikely places.

I'm just wondering if it was a glitch and it was supposed to be a guard up on the wall and a skeleton spawned instead...
