The worst part is the guy lives in an inn with nothing of value inside his room, and he's carrying a key to a mansion that doesn't even exist.
Killing him is putting him out of his misery in a way
That's actually quite sad. Poor guy just wants to feel like he belongs, like he fits in with the people who always put him down.
I can imagine him waking up in the morning putting on his fine clothes knowing deep inside that it's all really a lie, and i can imagine him breaking down and crying in his cheap inn room while he clutches that key in his hand that signifies the life he leads, a life that really is just a lie. But does it matter? Does it really? He is a video game character and i'm sure he knows it.
Edit: Question is, does that key lead to an imaginary mansion? Or maybe it leads to his true self and he need to accept what never will be?
