Can you cure being a werewolf?

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 6:38 am

Being a werewolf svcks, my attacks and defense are much lower then my armor and weapons and I can't heal myself unless I kill someone. I've already finished the companion. just did the quest to turn Vilkas back into a human, do I do something like that to turn myself back?

If I remember right, you have to cure Vilkas and Farkas, then you can cure yourself. If you do it as soon as you cure Kodlak, you won't have to cure those two.

Yes you can cure yourself. It's a bit harder then curing vampirism. Honestly unlike being a werewolf. I don't fast travel alot or use horses. With the hircine ring it makes a decent way to travel. I haven't cured villas yet, but you do it at the same place for yourself. You just need the same item that was used before.

I cured myself at the same time I did the old guy, I read if you didn't you lost the chance. You can try going back and see if it works.

You don't lose the chance after that. But the change back to human is perminent, unlike a vamp

You know there is a whole section of this forum dedicated to spoilers! I know that most have probably run through the companion quest line but not everyone has.

Why cure yourself?
It's not like in Bloodmoon that you would change form every night. Here you have the freedom of choice. I find being a werewolf very useful.

Exactly. Do like this guy did:

Spoiler
All you have to do is kill all the witches. then after you cure Kodlak, and kill his spirit, you can then do the same with your own.

And put your spoilers in spoiler tags, if you really need to put the thread in General Discussion.

I don't mind being a werewolf. Other than not getting any well rested bonuses, there's really not any significant disadvantages. I realize there aren't any huge advantages either, I just think it's kinda cool. Honestly, I do it once in a while just to see the cool transformation. LOL. :)
