is it even possible to stop teh game from freezing and pulling up the load selection menue ?

Nope, had no idea I could even change it.

If there is a way to make the game carry on as normal, that would be epic to see how far away you would land.

That would make a great youtube video.

On the PC it's in the .ini settings; just set it to a ridiculously high value. Can't remember which setting offhand though.

I lengthened the death camera time before reload, in case something hilarious happens.

When I get airborn I hit quicksave when I reach the crest of my ascent. Then I leave the computer to get something to eat.

I die, I hit the Escape Key and load the save, I don't even wait for the body to fall to the ground even if my feet never left the ground.

However, I have done a 3rd Level Whirlwind Sprint off of the side of a mountain, I got to see the end results of that. Mostly because I was still not sure what happened when I did it as I swore I had a Frost shout selected.......

Delayed it. For 60 seconds. I think it was my first mod.
